Lucretia Heard

I am a certified Intervener at the Maryland School for the Blind for 30 years. I am a divorced mother of two and also have two foster sons. Not to mention, I have a precious grandson. I love being in the club. I love traveling, baking, and socializing once a month with my sisters in the club. I come from a family of nine and I am next to the youngest. I enjoy going to the movies, my favorite movies are drama and suspense. Most of all, I love spending time with my family.

Wife, mother of 3 and grandmother of 2. Former Special Educator, Principal, and Director of Baltimore County Department of Recreation. Now I am enjoying retirement and being a member of Sisters Excelling Everyday.

Rhonda Arrey

I am a seasoned educator of 38 years. I am a wife mother, and woman of God. I enjoy traveling, family, friends, and a good laugh. As a member of this sisterhood, I enjoy supporting young women as they seek careers, jobs to make a difference in our society. As a member of SEE, I enjoy supporting , nurturing, encouraging each other as we live, laugh and love.

Asya Shaheeddavis

I am a wife and mother of four with two grandchildren. I enjoy shopping, traveling, and spending time with my family. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Science from Morgan State University. I am also a certified Phlebotomist.

Heather Marable

Jesus Christ is the head of my life and the foundation of everything I do. I am a family-oriented woman who cherishes spending quality time with my family, friends, children and grandchildren. I have a passion for singing, enjoy makeup artistry, and find great joy in helping others. Serving people and making a positive difference in their lives is important to me, especially when it comes to supporting and encouraging seniors. I strive to live with compassion, kindness, and a heart dedicated to uplifting those around me. "Living by faith, serving with love, and making a difference on person at a time. "

Lorraine Jones Chaplin

I am a person who loves the LORD, without HIM I am nothing. I am so privileged to be a wife, and mother. I've also been a foster mother for over 20 years. I've been a secretary for Baltimore County Public Schools for 17 years. I also work with another nonprofit organization, where we help teenagers come to know and grow in my LORD and SAVIOR Jesus Christ. I am also privileged and grateful to be apart of an extraordinary part group of women whose passion is to help young women excel everyday in their lives. 

Deborah Richardson

Proud wife, mother of 2 and 2 grandchildren. I am Baltimore bred from a large family of loving southern parents. During my childhood, I competed in track and field, learned ballet, jazz, tap, and modern dance as well as playing the flute and organ in music recitals. Attending the Baltimore City Public Schools, I earned a full scholarship to the University of Maryland College Park and graduated in 1977 with a B.S. degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. After 38 years of service with the Maryland State Division of Parole and Probation, I have shared some triumphs and success stories while supervising the returning citizens. As a retiree, I enjoy line dancing, ballet and broadway dancing, word puzzles, day trips, and museums. Loving the Lord, I aspire to let my light shine for kingdom building by displaying love, joy, peace, humility, patience, and other fruits of the Spirit.

Laylla Merkes

Driven by a lifelong heart for helping others, Laylla Merkes serves as a proud member for Sisters Excelling Every Day. With a career spanning public safety as a retired Police Officer, Sheriff’s Deputy, and Crime Lab Photographer, service is simply second nature. As the founder of Better Way of Life Financial Coaching, LLC. her mission is to empower families with practical money management skills to build a solid foundation for the future. Whether volunteering in the community or at church mentoring family members through financial milestones, Laylla believes that with the right guidance and support, everyone can live a better way of life.

Nicole Lawson

My name is Nicole Lawson just a little about myself. I have 12 years of Law Enforcement experience and am currently working for the MTA Police Department. I am a member of First Mount Olive FWB Church and ministering on the dance ministry for over 15 years. I am a recent graduate of the Discipleship Ministry at the New Psalmist Baptist Church and completed a Certificate program for Share the Gospel. I enjoy helping people and doing things in the community that will make a difference. FOR I AM FOREVER GODS DISCIPLE. My hobbies include traveling, movies, drawing cartoons, attending family and friend gatherings, and of course dancing. Thank you for your time and have a GREAT day on purpose.
